October got off to an amazing start as my partner whisked me off to France to watch the horse racing for my 40th birthday (feeling very lucky!).
I'm also lucky enough that upon my return I get to walk Ashkii (I thought my dog was the only one with that name) and Bella (pictured above). These 2 really are awesome and go to show that regardless of the breed if you train them right you will get well behaved dogs.
I've also been working with a lovely Akita cross who was causing his owners some issues on walks especially with other dogs but yesterday we had a lovely walk with one of my guys and his owners have reported that just 3 days after our training session he was managing to calmly walk past dogs whilst out walking (previously he was on his back legs lunging at them).
Now that winter is fast approaching and people are bringing their horses in overnight I am getting booked up for stable yard work but do still have a few mornings free if anyone wants a bit of time off from the mad pre work dash to the yard and I have 1 lunchtime dog walking slot remaining.
I'm also really excited that my training course (C.A.L.M dog training system) will be getting accredited in the new year so other trainers can become qualified in this method. If anyone is interested in helping to get this project off the ground (media skills are definately needed) then please email me and I will discuss in more details.
